Situated on poorly drained undulating grassland, with fairly good views of the surrounding countryside. Possible moated site (WM013-009---) 20m to S. This monument has been partly destroyed. All that remains is an arc of an earthen bank on the S side of a field fence running E-W with possible entrance gap at ESE. Monument intersected at E by field fence and stream running N-S which forms the townland boundary with Ballynaskeagh.
