The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on gently sloping ridge in poorly drained grassland, with fairly good views all around. Possible moated site (WM013-010---) 20m to N. Roughly square-shaped area (approx. diam. 26m NW-SE; 38m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank from S-W-N-NE, and by a straight field fence and stream at E which forms the townland boundary with Ballynaskeagh. Traces of cultivation ridges aligned NE-SW visible running across the interior. Possible entrance gap (Wth 3.2m) at N.
