The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a low rise in grassland with good views in all directions. This site has been substantially levelled. Described in 1978 as a circular shaped area (approx. diam. 30m E-W) defined by a scarp with traces of a faint external fosse at SSW, and a possible counterscarp bank. This levelled site is visible as a faint cropmark on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011.
