The National Monuments Service's description
Located towards the top of a N-and E-facing slope of a S-N spur, with extensive views to the N and E. Two standing stones are marked on a 1716 manuscript map by Bateman (NLI, MSS 6148-9). Nothing is visible at ground level.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
