The National Monuments Service's description
Situated towards the top of the NE-facing slope of a S-N spur, with extensive views to the N and E. Marked as a possible megalithic feature on a 1716 map by Bateman (NLI, MSS 6148-9). There is a conglomerate boulder (dims. 1.1m x 0.6m x 0.4m) now lying at the side of the road.
