The National Monuments Service's description

On steep W-facing slope which falls to the Clashawley river valley. Slope is terraced with a limestone face exposed towards the top of the slope. Monument was located on a lower terrace which is heavily overgrown with scrub. Monument is depicted on the 1903-04 OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) with E-W field boundaries running into the N and S quadrants. Enclosure has been levelled and is not visible at ground level.
