The National Monuments Service's description
At the crest of a low WNW-ESE ridge. D-shaped grass-covered platform (dims 37.3m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by an overgrown fosse (Wth of top 3.5-3.9m; int. D 1.2-1.3m; ext. D 0.2-0.4m) NE-E-SW, but the monument is truncated by overgrown quarry scarps at N and W (H 1.1m). There is a modernised entrance across the fosse at SE.
