The National Monuments Service's description

On the gentle N-facing slope of an E-W ridge. Oval grass and rush-covered area (dims 37.4m E-W; 27.2m N-S) defined by a chord (L 8m) of an earthen bank at SW (Wth 6.7m; int. H 1.5m; ext. H 1.7m) and slight remains of a bank (Wth 3.2m; H 0.2m) ENE-ESE with a scarp (H 1-1.5m) elsewhere. There is a rounded fosse (Wth of top 6.4-7.9m; Wth of base 2.7-3.4m; D 0.6m) SSE-NW, and an outer bank (Wth 4.7m; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 0.5m) SW-NW, but there is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO020-033----) is c. 60m to the NW and crannog (RO020-035----) is c. 250m to the NNE.
