The National Monuments Service's description
Towards the bottom of a gentle N-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 26.2m N-S; 23.1m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.1m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.6m) ESE-W separated by a fosse (Wth of top 6.4-6.7m; Wth of base 3.5-3.7m; D 1.3-1.7m) from an overgrown outer bank (Wth 4-4.3m; ext. H 0.2-0.3m) E-S-NW. The inner bank is reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m at N) W-N-ESE and the outer features are absent NW-E. There is no identifiable original entrance. Crannog (RO020-035----) is c. 220m to the NE, and rath (RO020-034----) is c. 60m to the SE.
