The National Monuments Service's description
Depicted as an island (diam. c. 20m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and as an island attached to the SW shore of triangular Drumalough (dims c. 500m NW-SE; c. 300m NE-SW at SE) on the 1914 ed. The W shore of the reduced lake (dims c. 275m NW-SE; c. 200m NE-SW) is now c. 50m to the NE. Subcircular, flat-topped and grass-covered mound (dims of base 29m N-S; 25.4m E-W; dims. of top 10.3m N-S; 6.4m E-W; H 1.1-1.6m) with stones, but there is no clear indication of artificial construction. Raths (RO020-033----; RO020-034----) are c. 220m and 250m to the SSW.
