The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, at the base of a SW-facing slope close to the N shoreline of Bekan Lough.
The mound (diam. c. 8m) is visible as a very low, sod-covered rise with small patches of stony black soil exposed where the surface has been denuded by farm stock. The full original extent of the mound is unclear. Traces of cultivation ridges, on a NE–SW axis, are discernible in the surrounding field.
There is a burnt mound (MA092-114----) c. 140m to S, a burnt mound (MA092-115----) c. 200m to SSE, and a possible burnt spread (MA092-117----) c. 220m to SE.
