The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on gently rising ground close to the NE shore of Bekan Lough.
When inspected in 1998 this levelled burnt mound was visible as a roughly semi-circular area (diam. c. 12m) marked by shorter grass growth, with black soil exposed in parts which were denuded of vegetation. It appeared to be composed of a concentration of stone fragments. The straight side faces SW towards the lake.
There is a burnt mound (MA092-114----) c. 130m to WNW, a burnt mound (MA092-116----) c. 200m to NNW, and a possible burnt spread (MA092-117----) c. 25m to SE.
