The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, in lowlying wet, boggy ground.
This consist of a narrow flat-topped linear rise (overall width c. 15m, top 6.5-9m; H 1.6-1.8m), probably natural, which was utilised as a causeway or trackway across an area of very wet ground. It extends for c. 100m on a NW−SE axis, but cannot be examined along its full length due to a dense covering of gorse and blackthorn. It appears to become broader (Wth c. 9m) on top and more rounded in profile towards its NW end. There are traces of stone kerbing along the top edge in parts. At its SE end it connects with a trackway, shown on the 25-inch plan, but now no longer in use, which continued to S for c. 200 where it intersected with a 19th-century road.
