The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on the top of a ridge at the break of slope on the SSW side, with good views over undulating terrain. There is an expanse of flat, damp pasture at the base of the slope S–SW.
This possible rath is not shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map; a semicircular hachured area curving SE−NW is shown on the 1917 edition. The remains consist of a slightly raised, roughly circular area (36.4m NNW–SSE) defined SE–N by a scrap (H 2.3m at S, 1.4m at W). The scarp is replaced by later field fences at N–E, but it can be traced as a low undulation E–SE. Past quarrying into the ridge slope at S has truncated a section of the scarp at S–SSW.
The interior is level, grassy and featureless. The scarp is ringed with hawthorn and scrub. There was a vernacular farmstead immediately to NE; a modern farmstead is located immediately to SW.
