The National Monuments Service's description
Located in rough, wet pasture bordered by gently rising ground to S.
Roughly circular, raised area (28m N–S; 25m E–W; H c. 0.5m) with broadly sloping sides that merge gradually with the surrounding ground. A broad circular, central depression (diam. c. 12m) gives it an overall dished profile. It is evident as a green, grassy rise surrounded by rough grass and rushes.
A church (MA071-077001-) and graveyard (MA071-077002-) occupying elevated ground c. 100m to NNE, and there is a motte (MA071-076----) c. 200m to NNE.
