The National Monuments Service's description

At an enclosure (MA039-043002-). This records the original location of a bullaun stone which was found at an unknown date during Land Project work (NMI topographical finds). According to local information, it was removed by a priest to its present location (MA039-043003-) in the grounds of Rathduff Roman Catholic church, c. 500m to W. It consists of an irregular-shaped boulder (L 1.5m; Wth 1m; H 0.85m) on flat upper surface of which there are two close-set, shallow hollows. One hollow is circular (diam. 0.33m) in plan, and the other oval (0.43m; 0.36m), each c. 0.08-0.1m depth.
