The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture. D-shaped area (29m NE-SW; 16.4m SE-NW- straight side is at NW) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1m) with external fosse (D 0.5m). Bank has been eroded in many places by cattle accessing interior. Gap in bank at W (Wth 2.3m); recent break in bank at NE (Wth 4.4m). Fosse has been used as dump for earth and rubbish at SW. Level interior under pasture.
