The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on E-facing slope, immediately NW of farmyard of Fort Edmund house. Roughly circular area (43m N-S; 47m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.4m; ext. H 2.1m) with external fosse (D 2m; Wth 3.35m) and counterscarp bank (ext. H 0.5m). Farm-buildings encroach on defences on SE side; recent wall stands immediately outside fosse SSW->NNW. Level interior is covered by mature deciduous trees.
