The National Monuments Service's description
Archaeological excavation (Site 2) in 2003 in advance of a large-scale, commercial development revealed a mound (L 2.5m; Wth 1.5m; D 0.45m) of burnt stone and charcoal-rich soil. An oval pit (L 1.05m; Wth 0.75m; D 0.25m) lay at its N edge (Ó Maoldúin and Keeley 2006, 321). Two fulachtaí fia (LF0104-123----; LF014-125----) lie c. 30m to the NW and c. 47m to the SE respectively.
