On top of the low, broad ridge which forms the spine of the Little Curragh and which also carries three other possible ditch-barrows (KD022-085----) c. 40m to the NW, (KD022-081---- and KD022-082----) c. 100m to the ENE, a large ring-barrow (KD022-042----) c. 70m to the SE and a second large ring-barrow (KD022-043----) c. 170m to the E. A very slightly domed, circular area (diam. 8.3m) is defined by a narrow, shallow fosse (Wth 1.8m; D 0.15m).
