The National Monuments Service's description

A level, circular area (diam. c. 28m) is enclosed by a fosse with an external bank (overall diam. 40m). There is an entrance at the W, with a second gap at the NE. Partially excavated by O'Riordáin (1950, 250-253: Site 1). Four post holes and a short shallow trench of uncertain function were discovered, but no evidence of burials was uncovered. Finds included thirteen pieces of flint, including two end scrapers.
