Near the top of a long, gentle N-facing slope and overlooked by two large ring-barrows (KD022-042---- and KD022-043----) c. 40m to the E and S. A second ditch barrow (KD022-082---- ) lies only 2.8m to the SW and a third (KD022-083----) lies c. 100m to the WSW; there is a fourth (KD022-085---- ) c. 140m to the WNW and a fifth (KD022-086----) lies c. 150m to the NW. Visible on aerial photograph (DoD, 1999). A very slightly raised sub-circular area (diams. 7.3m NE-SW; 6.4m NW-SE) is defined by a narrow, shallow fosse (av. Wth 1m; D 0.2m). Cultivation ridges, running N-S, abut the E limits of the site.
