The National Monuments Service's description
Within the S half of the interior of a cashel (GA096-114----). Described by Redington (1916a, 53) as the 'mouth of a souterrain passage' that was constructed of large stones. Also noted by McCaffrey (1952, 159, no. 88). On inspection the monument was completely overgrown and obscured and no visible trace of the souterrain was noted.
