The National Monuments Service's description
In pastureland. Noted by Redington (1916a, 53) and described as 'the foundations' of 'small caher' which lay 'across a bohereen' immediately to the W of another cashel (GA096-114----). Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 159, no. 71b) as an oval 'Stone fort' with an 'overall diameter of 92' [28m] x 56' [17m]. The enclosing wall was '6' [1.8m] wide and 1' [0.3m] high' and was 'composed of two faces of blocks set on edge' on the N side. Only one face of blocks was evident elsewhere and the site was 'extremely ruinous'. No visible surface trace survives.
