The National Monuments Service's description
This monument was excavated (Licence no. 04E1604) in advance of development. A multi-period site, the earliest phase was identified as a single pit (0.5m diam.) that yielded over 70 sherds of Western Neolithic pottery alongside fragments of burnt bone (Halliday 2008, 21).
