This graveyard is referred to in the 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork - vol. 4 North Cork' (2000, 622-3) under the entry (no. 14765) for a church (CO002-065002-). The reference is as follows:
In Charleville. Rectangular graveyard (c. 100m ENE-WSW; c. 40m NNE-SSW), enclosed by stone walls with C of I church (CO002-06502-) off centre to ENE. Early 19th to mid 20th century headstones and vaults, headstones relocated along enclosing stone walls when graveyard turned into park in late 1960s.
