The National Monuments Service's description

Situated at the N edge of a SW-NE valley in a hazel wood. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A circular enclosure is indicated by a solid line on the 1916 OS 6-inch map. On inspection in 1999 this was found to be a circular area (diam. c. 20m) defined by a drystone wall (H 1m) of apparently modern construction.
