The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a N-facing slope with a depression to the N. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). An enclosure was visible on an aerial photograph (GSIAP M345, 346) and a subcircular enclosure is indicated on the 1916 OS 6-inch map (diam. c. 24m). On inspection in 1998 this was found to be a modern drystone walled enclosure. A hayshed is built on it, partially removing the perimeter.
