Le site est en remarquable état de conservation. Bâtie en calcaire, cette indigoterie comprend deux séries de cuves (une trempoire et une batterie pour chacune) disposées en équerre. Un puits qui servait à remplir d'eau les trempoires se situe à proximité. Les trous de poteaux destinés à accueillir l'implantation du couvercle des trempoires sont encore nettement visibles dans la maçonnerie.

History

The site is in remarkable state of preservation. Built in limestone, this indigo works comprises two series of vats (a steeping vat and a beating vat for each) arranged at right angles. A well which served to fill the steeping vats with water is located nearby. The post-holes intended to accommodate the installation of the cover of the steeping vats are still clearly visible in the masonry.
