Founded in the 13th century, the convent of the Cordeliers of Casteljaloux was destroyed by Protestants in 1568 and in 1621. It was rebuilt in 1633. Transformed into a hospital and hospice in the 19th century, it has preserved its 17th-century cloister. The conventual church adjoining the south-west gallery serves as a chapel to the hospice. It was internally altered in the 19th century. This church has a round-arch door surmounted by a pediment and an oculus. The church rises against the south-west gallery of the cloister and its bell tower marks the south angle of it. It consists, in plan, of a single oriented nave terminated by a flat chevet. This nave is bordered by two side chapels. Inside is arranged a tribune to the west and the two chapels communicate with the nave by two round-arch arcades. The nave is covered with a vault in brick and plaster. The side walls are pierced by pointed-arch windows flanked by pilasters. Above the capital of the pilasters runs a double cornice delimiting a frieze where are represented in plaster heads of figures surrounded by roses. The choir is internally organised as a semi-circular apse. It houses an altar in tomb form and has retained its 19th-century communion table. Two circulation doors, on either side of the choir, are surmounted by a panel where are represented, in stucco, liturgical instruments. The space between the two cornices at the base of the ceiling is occupied by the head of Saint-Vincent de Paul surrounded by a garland of roses held by two angels. At the centre of the choir ceiling is a glory. The side chapels each comprise two bays formed by two rib vaults separated by a doubleau.
