Historique
Le château est construit en 1767 par Jacques Kanon, célèbre corsaire qui s'illustre lors de la prise de Québec. Le domaine initial se composait d'un seul tenant entouré de murets en pierre. Au cours du temps, les possessions de vigne s'accroissent avec notamment l'achat de l'ancien château Curé-bon la Madeleine, voisin des châteaux Bélair et Ausone en 2000. Avec le rachat de la propriété par le groupe Chanel en 1996, d'importants travaux ont lieu. Les intérieurs sont refaits mais la disposition est conservée. La spécificité du domaine est que l'ensemble du vignoble est clôturé par un muret comportant plusieurs portails et qu'il comprend des maisons de bordiers. Il est à noter la présence d'une cave voûtée sous la demeure ainsi que d'anciennes carrières sous cette cave.

History
The château was built in 1767 by Jacques Kanon, a famous corsair who distinguished himself during the taking of Québec. The initial estate consisted of a single holding surrounded by stone walls. Over time, the vineyard holdings increased notably with the purchase of the former château Curé-bon la Madeleine, neighbour to the châteaux Bélair and Ausone in 2000. With the repurchase of the property by the Chanel group in 1996, major works took place. The interiors were redone but the layout was preserved. The specificity of the estate is that the entire vineyard is enclosed by a wall with several gateways and it includes farmworkers' houses.
