Dépendance du prieuré de Savigny (diocèse de Lyon) , donnée vers 1070 par un chanoine de la cathédrale de Saintes. L'intérêt de l'église réside pour l'essentiel dans ses parties romanes et dans sa travée sous clocher. La nef et ses collatéraux voûtés d'arêtes ont entièrement été refaits de 1838 à 1846, puis de 1862 à 1865.

History
Dependent of the priory of Savigny (diocese of Lyon), given around 1070 by a canon of the cathedral of Saintes. The interest of the church resides essentially in its Romanesque parts and in its bay under the bell tower. The nave and its aisles with rib vaults were entirely remade from 1838 to 1846, then from 1862 to 1865.
