Le moulin dit « de chez Guillet », construit en 1803, a cessé de fonctionner en 1919. Une boulangerie et un four ont été installés dans la maison le jouxtant. Ses ailes ont disparu mais le mécanisme intérieur est encore en place et sa toiture a été refaite en 1984. Ce moulin est représentatif des très nombreux moulins à vent du littoral charentais, qui ont pour la plupart cessé leur activité avant la dernière guerre. Son intérêt réside également dans le fait que lensemble de lexploitation a conservé ses dispositions anciennes : les mécanismes, la boulangerie, la maison du meunier.

History
The mill known as 'de chez Guillet', constructed in 1803, ceased operating in 1919. A bakery and an oven have been installed in the adjoining house. Its sails have disappeared but the internal mechanism is still in place and its roof was remade in 1984. This mill is representative of the very numerous windmills of the Charente coast, which for the most part ceased their activity before the last war. Its interest also lies in the fact that the entire operation has preserved its old layout: the mechanisms, the bakery, the miller's house.
