History
To a 12th-century nave succeeds a Romanesque bay under bell tower, to which is adjoined a choir rebuilt in the 15th century and enlarged by two side chapels on the south side. This church presents a silhouette characteristic of the rural churches of Saintonge: façade decorated with arcading, walls of the nave pierced with narrow openings located high up, bell tower with two storeys of square plan, and choir elevated and rebuilt at the end of the Gothic period.
