La chapelle de la Miséricorde est l'ancienne église du couvent des Augustins installés à Limoux à partir de 1358. Elle s'inscrit dans un îlot urbain, proche de la place de la république. Reconstruite en totalité, à l'exception de la façade Sud qui présente une belle élévation médiévale, la chapelle présente un décor intérieur du XIXe siècle similaire à celui de la cathédrale Saint-Michel de Carcassonne. Le porche Ouest néo-gothique est agrémenté d'un décor en terre cuite original.

History
The Miséricorde chapel is the former church of the Augustinian convent established in Limoux from 1358. It is situated in an urban block, close to place de la République. Completely rebuilt, with the exception of the South facade which presents a fine medieval elevation, the chapel displays interior decoration of the 19th century similar to that of Saint-Michel cathedral in Carcassonne. The neo-Gothic west porch is embellished with original terracotta decoration.
