Historique
La façade principale, symétrique, s'ordonne autour de la grande entrée, encadrée de pilastres nus. Ces pilastres, de même que ceux qui marquent les chaînes d'angles, s'élèvent sur toute la hauteur de la façade. Au premier étage s'ouvrent cinq grandes fenêtres. History
The main façade, symmetrical, is organized around the great entrance, framed by bare pilasters. These pilasters, like those which mark the corner chains, rise over the entire height of the façade. On the first storey five large windows open. The ensemble is crowned by a triangular pediment, formerly adorned at its centre with the arms of the town. The lateral façade continues the same arrangement, with the same simple rectangular storey band, the same large slightly arched windows. The passages which give access to the courtyard have been modified. The staircase begins with a straight flight, followed by a landing, a winding quarter turn and another straight flight. The stringers are supported by arches. The wrought-iron railing continues along the entire landing of the first storey. It is composed of very simple elements, assembled by sections and all similar, except for the starting panel, which alone is adorned with a few stem motifs, worked in round iron and embellished with a few sheet-metal leaves.
