Les petits compartiments du colombage du premier étage sont garnis suivant des lignes, tantôt horizontales, tantôt obliques, parfois en épi. Les compartiments plus grands du second étage se prêtaient à plus de fantaisie : un compartiment triangulaire a été décomposé en un carré, garni de briques horizontales et en deux triangles avec briques verticales. Dans un autre, les briques sont disposées en point de Hongrie. Les bois n'ont été sculptés qu'au premier étage. L'intérieur conserve une rampe en fer, composée d'assemblages de fers plats enroulés en spirale.

The present building is mentioned in 1753. The facade on the side street is in stone; the principal facade in timber framing. The stone corner chain marks the corbelling of the facade. Its powerful quarter-round corbel receives the support of the lintels, concealed by the shopfronts on the ground floor. The timber framing of the first storey consists of eight short posts: one at each corner and two at each of the three windows. The timber framing consists of a tight oblique lattice between the posts and, at the window sill, of simple Saint Andrew's crosses. On the second storey, the posts are closer together. The herringbone timber framing, point upward, may perhaps be related to the Alverny coat of arms. The brick infill is of the greatest variety. The small compartments of the timber framing of the first storey are filled according to lines, sometimes horizontal, sometimes oblique, sometimes in herringbone. The larger compartments of the second storey lent themselves to more fancy: a triangular compartment has been divided into a square, filled with horizontal bricks and two triangles with vertical bricks. In another, the bricks are arranged in Hungarian point. The timbers were carved only on the first storey. The interior preserves an iron railing, composed of assemblies of flat irons rolled in spirals.
