Historique
La malouinière de la Fosse-Hingant, datant du 17e siècle, a été très modifiée sous la Restauration, notamment par l'adjonction d'un avant-corps à trois travées sur la façade sur cour dans les années 1820-1830. La structure de la malouinière y reste néanmoins encore lisible, avec son corps de logis à six travées (chose rare pour une malouinière, celles-ci comprenant habituellement un nombre impair de travées) , flanqué de deux pavillons plus bas. La Fosse-Hingant a joué un rôle important pendant la chouannerie : elle fut le centre de la conspiration de la Rouërie, dénoncée par un traître. A la suite de ces événements, qui laissèrent une impression pénible dans la région, le nom de la Fosse-Hingant fut pendant quelques décennies remplacé par celui de Nermont (nom d'une terre située à proximité). History
The malouinière of La Fosse-Hingant, dating from the 17th century, was greatly modified under the Restoration, notably by the addition of a projecting section of three bays on the courtyard façade in the 1820s-1830s. The structure of the malouinière nonetheless remains legible there, with its main dwelling of six bays (a rare thing for a malouinière, these usually comprising an odd number of bays), flanked by two lower pavilions. La Fosse-Hingant played an important role during the Chouannerie: it was the centre of the Rouërie conspiracy, denounced by a traitor.
