La maison dite le Clique a été construite en 1778 par Charles Cornic, sur une structure antérieure datant probablement du 17e siècle et servant de halle aux toiles. Le nouvel édifice, construit à proximité de la demeure de Cornic, devait servir de logement pour le personnel qu'il employait sur le port. La maison a ensuite été agrandie par la construction de deux appentis, l'un sur le pignon sud en 1882 et l'autre sur le pignon nord au début du 20e siècle. Divers vestiges accompagnant l'édifice (vestiges de quai, de colonnes à présent enfouies, plate-forme de défense) témoignent de l'importance qu'a eue cette partie de la baie dans le développement du port de Morlaix.

History
The house called le Clique was built in 1778 by Charles Cornic, on an earlier structure probably dating from the 17th century and serving as a linen hall. The new building, constructed near Cornic's residence, was to serve as lodging for the personnel he employed at the port. The house was subsequently enlarged by the construction of two lean-tos, one on the south gable in 1882 and the other on the north gable in the early 20th century. Various remains accompanying the building (remains of quay, of columns now buried, defence platform) testify to the importance which this part of the bay had in the development of the port of Morlaix.
