Historique
Construite en 1898 par Pierre Secrestat, la distillerie est une extension d'une fabrique de liqueurs, installée rue Notre-Dame et ouverte en 1852, dont la spécialité était le célèbre bitter Secrestat, à base de gentiane et d'écorces d'oranges amères. Son élévation sur rue présente un avant corps de style néo-classique, en brique et pierre, et les salles de préparation se développent sur trois niveaux, avec une cuverie aménagée au sous-sol. Elle a fonctionné de 1902 à 1973. History
Built in 1898 by Pierre Secrestat, the distillery is an extension of a liqueur factory, installed on rue Notre-Dame and opened in 1852, whose specialty was the famous Secrestat bitter, made from gentian and bitter orange peel. Its street elevation presents a neo-classical avant-corps, in brick and stone, and the preparation rooms develop over three levels, with a vat room fitted in the basement.
