Hôtel édifié en 1630 par Fromont de la Bernadière, receveur des tailles. En 1675, il est acquis par la princesse Elisabeth d'Orléans, petite fille de Henri IV, duchesse de Guise et d'Alençon. En 1751, l'hôtel fut abandonné à la ville par Louis XV pour servir d'habitation aux intendants de la généralité de cette région. L'intérieur conserve des boiseries.

History
Hotel built in 1630 by Fromont de la Bernadière, receiver of tailles. In 1675, it was acquired by the princess Elisabeth of Orléans, granddaughter of Henry IV, duchess of Guise and Alençon. In 1751, the hotel was abandoned to the town by Louis XV to serve as a dwelling for the intendants of the généralité of this region. The interior preserves woodwork.
