Eglise construite en béton armé par l'architecte parisien Roger-Henri Expert, en collaboration avec l'architecte messin Théophile Dedun. Les travaux, commencés en 1937, sont interrompus par la guerre et ne reprennent qu'en 1950 ; l'église est achevée en 1954. L'architecture en carène renversée s'arrondit en une abside semi-circulaire que flanquent trois absidioles basses. Seize piliers en béton décoffré, inclinés à 9°, se rejoignent par couples. Les vitraux-claustra, posés en 1953, sont l'oeuvre du peintre Nicolas Untersteller ; les thèmes illustrés sont la vie de Sainte-Thérèse et les principales activités de la région. History
Church built in reinforced concrete by the Parisian architect Roger-Henri Expert, in collaboration with the Metz architect Théophile Dedun. Work began in 1937, was interrupted by the war and only resumed in 1950; the church was completed in 1954. The keel-like architecture curves into a semi-circular apse flanked by three low apsidioles. Sixteen unshuttered concrete pillars, inclined at 9°, meet in pairs. The claustra windows, installed in 1953, are the work of the painter Nicolas Untersteller; the illustrated themes are the life of Saint Thérèse and the main activities of the region. The spire dates from 1963.
