Historique

History
The structure of the building seems to imply the existence of two building campaigns. The interior buttresses, equipped with returns at their impost level, are set against the walls in a different facing, without the triumphal arch, devoid of offsets, offering them a counterpart. No interior band ties the imposts together along the walls, as this would cut through the arcs of the apsidioles and the side windows. It seems that the walls, the apse and the apsidioles are somewhat earlier than the 12th century, the vaulting on doubleaux having been carried out only later. The installation of the southern portal, at the end of the 12th century, could constitute a third and final campaign. The Romanesque portal is in white marble. A torus rests on two columns. The cornice and archivolts are decorated with mouldings. The tympanum is a monolithic lintel.
