Historique
Ancien hôtel du 18e siècle, ayant appartenu à la famille Morée de Charaix, et devenu hôtel de ville en 1851. Il présente une architecture classique ayant conservé un caractère régional. La façade nord se compose de trois travées et un fronton. La porte d'entrée est encadrée de pilastres et couronnée d'un entablement. Les fenêtres du rez-de-chaussée et du premier étage sont arrondies à la partie supérieure, et rectangulaires pour celles du second étage. La clef des baies est ornée. L'intérieur conserve un escalier en pierre rampe sur rampe ou à limon superposé, constitué de deux volées droites par étage entre paliers. Le limon est contrebuté, au droit de chaque palier, par un grand arc à clé pendante formant deux arcs plus petits sans support. Une cheminée du 18e siècle est surmontée de glaces à trumeaux à la partie inférieure et de motifs peints au-dessus.

History
Former 18th-century hôtel, which belonged to the Morée de Charaix family, and became town hall in 1851. It displays classical architecture having preserved regional character. The north façade consists of three bays and a pediment. The entrance door is framed by pilasters and crowned with an entablature. The windows of the ground floor and first storey are rounded at the upper part, and rectangular for those of the second storey. The keystone of the openings is decorated. The interior preserves a stone staircase with ramp over ramp or with superimposed string, consisting of two straight flights per storey between landings. The string is braced, at the level of each landing, by a large arch with a pendant key forming two smaller arches without support. An 18th-century fireplace is surmounted by mirrors with trumeau at the lower part and painted motifs above.
