Historique
A l'origine, les parcelles 378 et 379 constituaient un seul immeuble. Ce dernier, construit vraisemblablement au 16e siècle, a été divisé au 18e siècle et la partie sise sur la parcelle 379 reconstruite en hôtel particulier entre 1693 et 1767. L'année 1742 est inscrite au-dessus du puits. Le tracé de cette parcelle, comprise entre des constructions très anciennes, a imposé un plan irrégulier à l'hôtel lors de sa construction. L'immeuble est à deux étages d'habitation sur rez-de-chaussée et un étage de comble pour la partie qui borde la rue Cavalerie ; à un étage d'habitation avec un étage de comble pour la partie qui borde le jardin sur l'arrière. La porte d'entrée de l'immeuble est encadrée de filets et d'un boudin saillant. Les pilastres et le linteau sont ornés de refends. L'ensemble est couronné par un entablement à doucine. Le jardin, sur l'arrière de la maison, est agrémenté d'une fontaine en rocaille munie d'un bassin. Face à la fontaine, le premier étage de l'immeuble prend jour sur une galerie couverte, portée par un pilier supplémentaire. L'intérieur conserve un salon lambrissé au premier étage avec dessus de portes peints à l'huile sur toile, représentant les arts libéraux. Ces peintures sont l'oeuvre d'un artiste du 18e siècle, à situer peut-être dans l'entourage de Raoux. Le dessus de cheminée est agrémenté d'un panneau en gypserie, composé de trophées.

History
Originally, parcels 378 and 379 constituted a single building. The latter, built presumably in the 16th century, was divided in the 18th century and the part situated on parcel 379 rebuilt as a hôtel particulier between 1693 and 1767. The year 1742 is inscribed above the well. The layout of this parcel, situated between very old buildings, imposed an irregular plan on the hotel at the time of its construction. The building has two storeys of residence over a ground floor and an attic storey for the part which borders the rue Cavalerie; one storey of residence with an attic storey for the part which borders the garden to the rear. The entrance door of the building is framed by fillets and a projecting bead. The pilasters and the lintel are ornamented with rustication. The whole is crowned by a cornice with cyma. The garden, to the rear of the house, is embellished with a rocaille fountain furnished with a basin. Facing the fountain, the first floor of the building opens onto a covered gallery, carried by an additional pillar. The interior preserves a panelled salon on the first floor with painted overdoor panels in oil on canvas, representing the liberal arts. These paintings are the work of an artist of the 18th century, to be placed perhaps in the circle of Raoux. The mantelpiece is embellished with a panel in plasterwork, composed of trophies.
