Les immeubles qui bordent la rue de la Ferrage du côté sud, communiquaient autrefois avec le quai du canal de l'Agau. Ces maisons étaient habitées par des teinturiers dont les ateliers adjacents profitaient du voisinage de l'eau de l'Agau. Tel est le cas de la maison située au n°11. La façade sur la rue comporte, à la base, une porte d'entrée et une boutique. Le premier étage est percé de deux fenêtres. La porte est une entrée piétonne, sous linteau droit décoré de refends à crossettes. Les pilastres d'encadrement, nus, portent des chapiteaux à volutes chargés de fruits suspendus à des guirlandes issues de l'oeil des volutes. L'échine est décorée d'oves. Les chapiteaux ioniques supportent une architrave à règles et une frise rehaussée de bossages trémoïdes. Un grand tableau saillant interrompt en son milieu cet entablement. Au-dessus règne une corniche à larmier. La porte s'ouvre en deux vantaux inégaux. Le dormant comporte un alignement de quatre petits panneaux. L'ouvrant comporte une série de petits panneaux inégaux disposés autour d'un panneau losangé qui devait autrefois comporter la poignée.

History
The buildings lining rue de la Ferrage on the south side formerly communicated with the quay of the canal de l'Agau. These houses were inhabited by dyers whose adjacent workshops benefited from the proximity of the waters of the Agau. This is the case of the house situated at no. 11. The façade on the street has, at its base, an entrance door and a shop. The first floor is pierced by two windows. The door is a pedestrian entrance, under a straight lintel decorated with rustication with crossettes. The plain pilasters of the frame carry Ionic capitals loaded with fruits suspended from garlands issuing from the eye of the volutes. The echinus is decorated with ovoli. The Ionic capitals support an architrave with rules and a frieze enhanced with tremolo bosses. A large projecting panel interrupts this entablature in its centre. Above runs a cornice with a drip mould. The door opens in two unequal leaves. The frame comprises an alignment of four small panels. The opening comprises a series of small unequal panels arranged around a diamond panel which formerly must have comprised the handle.
