En 1781, des infiltrations s'étant produites dans les murs du chevet de l'église Saint-Michel, il fut décidé de démonter la fontaine et de la reconstruire en laissant un léger espace entre elle et le mur de l'église contre lequel elle était placée. L'ouvrage se présente sous forme d'une niche demi-circulaire. L'ornementation extérieure à la niche est essentiellement constituée par les refends des pilastres et les crossettes des claveaux. Les uns et les autres sont purement ornementaux et ne correspondent pas aux joints réels. Les bases des pilastres sont ornées de tableaux nus. La clef est couronnée par une grande tête sculptée, couronnée de feuillages et barbue. Dans la niche se trouve une grande coquille. Les parements concaves du fond de la niche sont ornés de vermiculures à la pointe.

History
In 1781, infiltrations having occurred in the walls of the chevet of the church Saint-Michel, it was decided to dismantle the fountain and rebuild it leaving a slight gap between it and the church wall against which it was placed. The work presents itself in the form of a semi-circular niche. The exterior ornamentation of the niche is essentially constituted by the rustication of the pilasters and the crossettes of the voussoirs. Both are purely ornamental and do not correspond to the actual joints. The bases of the pilasters are decorated with bare panels. The keystone is crowned by a large sculpted head, crowned with foliage and bearded. In the niche is found a large shell. The concave surfaces of the bottom of the niche are decorated with vermiculations to the point.
