Cette petite chapelle n'est autre que l'ancienne église de Saint-Etienne de Tersan, probablement construite avant 1184. L'édifice a été transformé pour un usage agricole, à l'exception du sanctuaire et de la travée de choeur, réservés au culte. C'était une église à trois nefs, non voûtées, avec travée de choeur voûtée, abside et absidioles dans le prolongement des nefs. A l'extérieur, l'abside principale, demi-circulaire, est bâtie en moyen appareil irrégulier. Cette paroi extérieure est décorée par quatre colonnes engagées avec chapiteaux corinthiens. A l'intérieur, la voûte est élevée jusqu'aux trois quarts de sa hauteur en demi-coupole et, au-dessus, en cul de four à peu près symétrique. La travée de choeur, dans sa partie médiane, est voûtée en berceau.

History
This small chapel is none other than the former church of Saint-Etienne de Tersan, probably built before 1184. The building has been transformed for agricultural use, except for the sanctuary and the choir bay, reserved for worship. It was a church with three naves, unvaulted, with vaulted choir bay, apse and absidioles in the continuation of the naves. On the exterior, the main apse, semi-circular, is built of irregular medium-sized ashlar. This exterior wall is decorated by four engaged columns with Corinthian capitals. On the interior, the vault rises to three quarters of its height as a half-dome and, above, as a cul-de-four almost symmetrical. The choir bay, in its median part, is vaulted with a barrel vault.
