Historique
Construction sur plan circulaire, d'un diamètre intérieur de 5,16m environ. La partie inférieure, tronconique, présente, au fond, une banquette périphérique. Le tronc de cône est surmonté d'une partie cylindrique. L'ensemble est couvert par une calotte sphérique. La construction présente trois zones distinctes. Le tronc de cône est bâti en très grand appareil irrégulier ; la partie cylindrique en petits moellons irréguliers ; la voûte en pierres plates. Au fond, la banquette et le sol sont dallés en carreaux de terre cuite. L'accès s'effectuait par une trappe placée à la clef de la voûte et par un couloir étroit s'ouvrant dans la voûte par une lunette carrée. Cette construction rappelle par sa forme, les silos ou glacières, mais il est difficile de la dater.

History
Construction on a circular plan, with an interior diameter of approximately 5.16m. The lower part, frustum-shaped, presents, at the bottom, a peripheral bench. The frustum is surmounted by a cylindrical part. The whole is covered by a spherical dome. The construction presents three distinct zones. The frustum is built in very large irregular ashlar; the cylindrical part in small irregular rubble stone; the vault in flat stones. At the bottom, the bench and floor are paved with terracotta tiles. Access was effected by a trapdoor placed at the key of the vault and by a narrow passage opening into the vault by a square lunette. This construction recalls by its form silos or ice houses, but it is difficult to date it.
