Une église Saint-Germain est mentionnée dès 1115. En 1279, la cure fut unie à la dignité de l'archidiacre majeur du chapitre cathédral de Carcassonne et, en 1446, à la manse capitulaire. Un arc en plein cintre muré, au nord, sur une retombée duquel est venu s'appuyer un contrefort du 14e siècle, montre qu'a été conservée, au moins de ce côté, une partie du mur de l'église romane antérieure. L'édifice est à une nef et se termine par un chevet plat. Le sanctuaire est voûté sur ogives en coin émoussé et formerets, sur colonnettes engagées. La nef est composée de quatre travées séparées par des arcs diaphragmes. La date d'établissement des voûtes à la Philibert Delorme n'est pas connue. Une tourelle octogonale sert de clocher et contient un escalier en vis. Portails nord et sud à arc brisé.

History
A church of Saint-Germain is mentioned as early as 1115. In 1279, the cure was united with the dignity of the senior archdeacon of the cathedral chapter of Carcassonne and, in 1446, with the capitular endowment. A round arch bricked up to the north, on a bearing of which a 14th-century buttress came to rest, shows that at least on this side, part of the wall of the earlier Romanesque church has been preserved. The edifice has a single nave and ends in a flat chevet. The sanctuary is vaulted with blunted-corner ribs and formerets, on engaged colonnettes. The nave is composed of four bays separated by diaphragm arches. The date of establishment of the Philibert Delorme vaults is not known. An octagonal turret serves as a bell tower and contains a spiral staircase. North and south portals with pointed arches.
